On 4th May I'm standing to be your next District Councillor in Hickling Ward; covering the villages of Hickling, Horsey, Potter Heigham and Sea Palling.
I currently have the honour of serving as your County Councillor, dealing with many issues across the area. If you choose to elect me in May, I will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Cromer-based North Norfolk District Council - and fight hard to ensure our Ward gets its fair share.
Community is important to me, which is why I organised a commemorative event in January to remember the floods of 1953 which impacted our region so very much. It was tremendously well-attended, with the Bishop of Norwich leading the service.
I would also look to work on mitigating some of the impacts that mass tourism has on our special rural environment. The natural beauty of the Ward draws people from all over the country to come and visit, but we need to make sure that both our residents and environment are not negatively affected. One such example would be to try and address the parking issues that Sea Palling faces every holiday season.
I hope that you choose to support me in representing your needs and concerns at North Norfolk District Council come 4th May.
