On 4th May, we will be standing to be your next District Councillors for Stalham, Sutton, and Catfield. We are both local people, living in Stalham.
Matthew is already one of your two local councillors, doing his best to ensure the voice of Stalham is heard loud and clear at the Cromer-based council. In his spare time, he was a key part of the team which has helped Duncan Baker MP raise over £87,000 for 40 local North Norfolk charities, and over £40,000 for his Ukraine aid missions. Matthew also works in Duncan's office in North Walsham which gives him a unique insight into local government, helping him make sure any issues affecting the ward are dealt with quickly. We want to continue the work Matthew has started: making sure that our town is placed firmly on the radar of North Norfolk District Council.
Kevin is the first-ever Mayor of Stalham, leading the town council through the many exciting projects underway. If elected, he is keen to work to try and see the building of Stalham's first modern industrial units. He has lived in the town of Stalham for over 50 years, growing up , raising his family, and now he is ready to represent the place that has done so much for him.
We both feel the parking situation in the town needs to be improved. North Norfolk District Council provides Stalham (home to over 3500 people) with just 18 parking spaces, some of which are leased! This must be improved and would be our top priority if we can ensure that a new administration runs NNDC.
We hope that you choose to support us on 4th May in delivering for our home, our town.
