On 4th May Crispian is standing to be the next District Councillor for the Poppyland Ward, covering the villages of: Overstrand, Crossdale Street, Northrepps, Frogshall, Trimingham and Sidestrand.
If elected in May, Crispian has four clear priorities - seeing the housing crisis in North Norfolk improved, ensuring our fantastic local businesses have adequate support, investigating a food waste collection service and working to tackle speeding through our villages.
He would work closely alongside locally based developers to bring more affordable housing forward; to make sure that people who are born and raised here in North Norfolk are not forced to move away.
Businesses are the backbone of our local economy, providing our young people with secure and well-paid jobs. They can only do this by continuing to grow and expand. Crispian understands this; he will work closely with our business community to ensure they have all the tools they need to support growth here in North Norfolk.
Speeding through our villages is a well-known issue. If elected, he will work to bring the number of people required for a community speed watch team down from three to two. If achieved, this will help promote a 33% increase in the number of speed watch teams; helping our roads become safer for all residents.
He knows just how important preserving and protecting our special environment is to residents across North Norfolk. That's why if we take control of North Norfolk District Council, he will investigate starting a long overdue food waste collection service. This will save waste from being sent to landfill or incineration as it is presently, instead turning it all into compost!
All four of these issues are key to ensuring our home, our North Norfolk, remains a brilliant place to live, work and retire - please do support him at this local election.
