On the 4th of May, I'm standing to be your next District Councillor in Beeston Regis and the Runtons. Our area is a special part of the North Norfolk coastline, one that needs to be protected at every opportunity. I'm determined to be a strong representative for our ward, to ensure your voices are heard loud and clear at North Norfolk District Council.
In my professional life I have been a barrister for over 20 years. My practice covers a wide range of issues including; residential, agricultural and commercial work. I strongly believe in giving back to our community and frequently undertake unpaid work for charity groups and local farmers. I am an active member of my local community, acting as a churchwarden for several years, and currently serve as a parish councillor.
One of the main issues I would like to see addressed is the roundabout situation at the top of Holway Road in Sheringham. The issues with the junction have led to Britons Lane being used as a rat run. If resolved, the traffic flow impacting our ward would be reduced - a win-win for all the residents in our part of North Norfolk.
I decided to stand as District Councillor because, unfortunately, it seems to be a common theme that members of the public are let down by those who are supposed to provide them with a service. I am determined to prove to you all that rather than just fashionable words, I'm here to deliver action and results, should you choose to elect me.
I hope that on the 4th of May, you choose to support me in delivering for our communities here in Beeston Regis and the Runtons - I can promise you all I will work to see our home become an even better place to live, work, and retire.
