On 4th May I will be standing to be our next District Councillor in Mundesley.
I have known the village of Mundesley my entire life, having grown up here and attended the village primary school. After leaving school, I joined the Royal Air Force as a weapons engineer to serve my country around the world. After retiring from the RAF, I starting working in mental health and disability support in North Norfolk; something I continue to do and find extremely fulfilling.
Having known our special corner of North Norfolk for such a long time, I am aware of both the issues we face as a community, and also what makes the village such a great place to live, work, and retire. I hope my experiences will help me if you chose to elect me as your next District Councillor.
I have long been committed to serving my home, having worked as a member of the Mundesley Parish Council between 2012 and 2017.
Another role I held, which was very close to my heart, was as the wreath layer for the Mundesley Branch of the Royal British Legion. Given my close ties to the armed forces, I was very proud to be allowed to carry out this duty.
I hope that you will choose to support me in delivering for our home, our village.
