On the 4th May, I will be standing to be your next District Councillor for the Worstead Ward.
I'm a local man, having lived in North Norfolk my entire life. It's a place I know well; one for which I have a deep understanding of the needs and concerns of residents across Worstead Ward.
For several years I have served as Chairman of Tunstead Parish Council. This role has allowed me to help and assist residents in many ways - I will continue to support our communities if elected to the District Council. I am a Community First Responder and a Care Officer for Sea Palling Independent Lifeboat, both are roles which I take great pride in undertaking for our community.
If elected, one of my top priorities would be trying to solve the current housing crisis impacting our district. With over 2,500 people on the housing waiting list, something clearly isn't working. We need to see more homes for local people, especially our young people who are commonly forced to move away from the area they grew up in.
I will always strive to go above and beyond what is required, whether responding to 999 calls or lifeboat callouts. If you choose to elect me as your District Councillor, I will bring the same commitment and dedication to this role as I do in my other community work.
I hope you will choose to place your trust in me to serve our home, the place we all love.
