On 4th May, I will be standing to be the next District Councillor for Edgefield, Melton Constable, Corpusty, Saxthorpe, Hunworth & Stody, Thornage, Brinton, Briningham and Sharrington.
The election in May is your chance to ensure that we can have real changes in North Norfolk, a move away from the unfair distribution of council funding, and services not working as they should.
As Chairman of Edgefield Parish Council, I know just how ineffective NNDC can be. This is the primary reason I chose to stand for election, to ensure residents across Stody Ward get a fair deal from the District Council. Edgefield is my home, I care deeply for our wonderful corner of North Norfolk.
I have three priorities if you choose to elect me in May, they are all important issues that I've picked up on the doorstep over the past few months.
1. Affordable homes for local people.
2. Speeding through our villages.
3. Working to improve ambulance response times.
If we can see progress on these matters, which I will work hard to achieve, I think it will go some way to making Stody Ward even better than it already is.
I do hope you choose to support me in delivering for our villages.
