On 4th May I'm standing to be your next local District Councillor for Priory Ward.
I am a local man, born and raised in North Norfolk. I'm determined to make sure that our home is well looked after by someone with the correct intentions at heart. This is exactly why I decided to stand to become our next District Councillor - to make sure our village communities have the best possible representation at North Norfolk District Council.
As we enter a new age and national matters occupy the foreground, our parishes are met with new and unprecedented demands. I know this firsthand, serving as the Chairman of Hindringham Parish Council. I therefore believe, that now more than ever we need to elect someone who knows what the area needs, what local people want, and how to go about getting it done.
I have been active in my community for many years now. Since 2014, I have worked incredibly closely with the parish council and fought for causes that I know mean the most to our community. I served as an LEA Governor at three different schools: Wells, Hindringham, and Fakenham for 17 years, and through doing so, have developed a strong knowledge of how best to support young people and their families. I strongly believe that we need to constantly push for improved support for children with SEND, ensuring they are provided with the support needed to go forth and excel in their lives.
My name is Steve Dye, and I am a local man. Over the years I have grown to understand what the pressing issues are in and around Priory Ward – and I am standing to resolve them. This is more than just for the community, this is for our culture, our way of life, and most importantly for our home.
